Dear Ms. Kim: On behalf of Screen Actors Guild Ethnic Employment Opportunities Committee and SAG Affirmative Action & Diversity, we thank you for your participation as a panelist on “The New Asia America: Transforming Perceptions.”
The program was a great success for the 140 plus attendees. We sincerely believe that your involvement, including your expertise and recognition in the entertainment industry, inspired and empowered actors of the guild to be a part of creating the diversity that we strive for. The panel discussion helped further the goals of SAG EEO Committee and SAG Affirmative Action & Diversity which advocate for an accurate portrayal of the “American Scene,” ensuring that what you see in front of the camera reflects our diverse membership and society. This event was profoundly influential and provided a lasting impact for SAG members.
We strive for our initiatives to be effective, innovative and transformative. We thank you and look forward to working with you again soon.
